· Primary Angiosarcoma of the Rib
Primary Angiosarcoma of the Rib. A 64-year-old man had a lytic rib lesion that dramatically increased in size in 4 weeks. A bone scan showed a corresponding photopenic focus. Biopsy revealed a malignant tumor with sarcomatous areas suggestive of angiosarcoma. Review of the literature shows that angiosarcoma is rarely seen as a primary rib lesion.
